  We spent a recent weekend here to take care of some business in town. Pets, including larger dogs, are welcome! The property presents itself well: well-lit at night, clean parking lot with lots of easy and free parking. Interior is well-maintained, showing pride of family ownership. Even-numbered rooms face north. Odd-numbered rooms face south (parking lot and adjacent restaurant/bar/deli). Karen Marks, the general manager, is an ABSOLUTE GEM. Staff is super pleasant and helpful. Rooms are much larger than traditional franchise chains. Our room was spotlessly clean. Shower had good pressure. Beds were comfy. TVs offered a good selection of channels, and their free wifi worked just fine. They offer a complimentary continental breakfast every day from 6-1030a. Highly recommend!

  Extremely disappointed in our recent stay. I am only giving 2 stars because of the good experience I had with Scott upon checking in over the phone, he was very pleasant and professional when placing a hold on the room. The other positive experience I had was with the gal at the Gelato Counter, she was very accommodating to my children and gave them the tiny spoons they were requesting.
  Now onto why they are only getting 2 stars. We have stayed here multiple times in the past and were always happy. This time, however, was very unsatisfactory. 1. The bed was rock hard, it felt like I was awake every 10 minutes. 2. The dining experience was less the mediocre. We split a club with onion rings, the onion rings were the best part of the meal ( the batter was perfect), the club however was gross. The bacon tasted like it was soaked in liquid smoke, I had to request ranch to cover up the taste. The other issue we had was with our drinks. When we were seated, a supervisor asked us what we wanted to drink, she was given the order and when our food came we still had not received them. They were very busy and that is why we may have been forgotten, but their customer service was definitely lacking. We were originally planning on staying there on our way back home, but will now be seeking different accommodations.
